Drive In Movie Packing List and Games to Play

Written by: Sarah Robinette

It has been way too long since we have went to the Drive in Movies! We went to see the new Toy Story movie which just came out so we knew the night was going to be busy. It said the gates opened at 7pm but we got there at 5:30 and traffic was already out to the road so they ended up opening up the gates at 6pm. I was so scared we wouldn't get in. It filled up quickly and we had so much fun

The Kids had no idea what a Drive in movie theater was so me and my husband was so excited to share this experience with them for the first time. Since we got there almost 3 hours before the movie started I decided to make them a fun scavenger hunt to play as we waited for the movie to start. We walked around and looked for some of the things and checked it off the list. If they are older, you could let them do this as a photo scavenger hunt, so that means they have to take a picture of what they found to prove they did in fact find it.

You could win for some easy prizes such as money for a snack at the concession stand or a prize of something fun they would like to pass the time!

If you like games like we do, you could also play this Drive in Bingo Game and sit in the truck and look around for items and the first one to get a Bingo, Double Bingo or Black Out Wins

We tried our best to think about everything we would need and we were both so scatter brained trying to think about it all.

I made a list on my phone of everything I needed to bring and the list was pretty long, so I wanted to share with you some of the things I grabbed before we headed there.
